- T65 MIL-SPEC Upper Receiver.
- T65 MIL-SPEC Piston Drive Assembly.
- T65 MIL-SPEC Flash Hider Compensator.
- T65 MIL-SPEC Bolt Carrier Group.
- T65 MIL-SPEC Charging Handle.
- T65 Mil-SPEC Eject Port Cover.
- T65 MIL-SPEC Handguard.
- T65 MIL-SPEC Front Sight Base Pinned and Installed, Gas Port Drilled.
- Barrel and extension are manganese phosphate finish per MIL-DTL-16232G, Type M, Class I.
- Barrel Bore and chamber chrome-plated per ASM-2406L, 5.56 NATO, 1:7 Twist.
- Barrel Weight: 38 oz.
- Barrel Material: 41V50
- Barrel: 1/2x28" muzzle threading, button rifled, air gauged, and stress relieved.
- Barrel: Standard feed ramp.
Per hkpart.net, each kit was used in Central & South America during active military conflicts and civil war. This is a heavily used kit but is serviceable and makes a great build project from a piece of history. You are encouraged to have a certified gunsmith install the barrel, have headspace checked, replace the springs, and any worn parts to ensure the utmost reliability.
T65 Taiwanese original kit comes with the following:

- Handguard upper and lower and retainers front & back
- Barrel nut
- Receiver piston guide
- Complete piston system
- Complete gas block front sight assembly
- Flash hider
- Select fire lower parts kit (ALL NFA RULES APPLY)
- Pistol grip and screw
- Fixed Stock complete with trapdoor
- Buffer tube and buffer spring
All of the lowers and parts are interchangeable with the AR15 family-type parts. With the exception of the lower buffer retaining detent is larger on the T65 but you can use a standard AR-15 buffer detent in its place
The original kit from hkparts.net did not come with the following: barrel, flash hider washer, trigger guard, ejection port door and hardware, buttstock buffer tube screw, rubber buffer tip, original top handguard retaining screw. With that said most of the parts for the T-65 build uses off-the-shelf mil-spec M16A1 parts and are readily available or customizable.
